Dr. Evette Hyder-Davis is a full Professor of Business and Economics with years of teaching experience and curriculum development in Organizational Economics, Ethics, Finance, Leadership, and Statistics. She is the former Dean of Languages, Arts, and Social Sciences for Northern Virginia Community College, which is the largest college in the state of Virginia and the second largest community college in the United States serving more than 70,000 students.
As a former College Dean of Business and Hospitality, Dr. Evette brings her experience and expertise to hotel ownership. She is partner to a 61-key Hampton Inn by Hilton and a 67-key Holiday Inn Express & Suites. This level of ownership allows Dr. Evette to be positioned properly to use her expertise to assist others with asset ownership and business development.
As a curriculum developer, Dr. Evette has advanced the curriculum for the United States Marine Corp through the development of a specialized degree program which allows Marines to receive college credit for their military occupational specialty. She has also worked closely with the United States Army to establish an 18-month degree program for soldiers to complete their associates of arts prior to military exit.
Dr. Evette has served her community in the past by being actively involved with many organizations to include the Prince William County (PWC) Chamber of Commerce Education and Innovation Committee, the PWC Economic Development Committee, the Virginia Women’s Network, and the Southeast Decision Science Institute for Statistics Professors.
Dr. Evette, alongside her husband, are the founders of Faith-2-Faith Ministries. As the past Mission Director's for Faith Christian Church and International Outreach Center of Warrenton, Virginia, she and her husband has touched communities throughout the world.
Dr. Evette Hyder-Davis is a Christian leader, hotel owner, business developer, professor, instructional designer, and curriculum developer that designs materials for pastors, churches, entrepreneurs, and organizations. Dr. Evette is serving the body of Christ and traditional organizations by training leaders to direct and develop followers according to values-driven ethical principles. Dr. Evette is committed to values-driven ethical principles which allows her to identify and cultivate the values of others thus helping leaders and workers function in their organization with confidence. She is also committed to organizational growth and development by consulting with organizational leaders to find areas of strength, weakness, opportunity, and threat. She is passionate about helping business owners reach their potential through professional growth consulting.
Dr. Evette Hyder-Davis has a Doctorate of Strategic Leadership from Regent University, a Master of Business Administration from Texas Wesleyan University, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Texas Woman’s University. She is published in peer-reviewed academic journals and is a member of Emerald Insight. She is a decorated veteran that has earned the Kuwait Liberation Medal and the Army Accommodation Medal for outstanding service during Desert Storm. Dr. Evette is married to Mert Davis, Jr. who has been her ministry partner for more than 24 years and they have one daughter.
